12 cups water
3-15oz cans cannellini beans 1/2 cup chopped carrots 1 medium onion chopped 3 celery stalks chopped 1-28oz crushed tomatoes 5 chicken knorr bouillon cubes 1 beef knorr bouillon cube 1 teaspoon parsley 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon garlic powder Black pepper to taste 1/2lb to 1lb elbows pasta or ditalini or any small pasta of your choice. In a big enough pot boil the water on high heat. After water boils reduce heat to medium add the bouillons, celery, onion, carrots and crushed tomatoes with juice, simmer for about 20 minutes then add the beans drain half the juice, add the garlic powder, parsley, paprika and black pepper, simmer for another 20 minutes, at the meantime cook the elbows in a separate pot, cook according to the package directions. When soup is done drizzle on top with olive oil and serve hot over elbows, garnish with grated cheese. It will feed about 10 people or more. Note: I usually cook the pasta separately because if you have left overs the pasta will soak up all the broth and it will become soggy. Also it will be easier to freeze the left overs. :) 1 lb. Dry Lentils (bag of 16 oz) 3 chicken bouillon (you might need one more if you need to add more water). 1 teaspoon garlic powder A dash of paprika 1/4 cup of crushed tomatoes with juice 1 potato peeled and cut in small cubes 1 carrot peeled and cut small 1 celery stalk cut small 1/2 onion cut small salt and pepper to taste 1 lb. of small pasta like ditalini or tiny shells.
